New Split Age Group Event Series Posted: The number of registered ESLAC members has been growing and we have decided to split the U7 and U8 boys into two groups.
Parents Honour Roll is now on our website for for those kind and helpful parents who passed one or more of the LAANSW Level D Officials tests. See ESLAC’s Information Menu. Come on, parents, we really need volunteers who know the rules of, at a minimum, the field events – Discus, Long Jump, Shot Put and High Jump.
Keep the buttons on singlets: The button-shaped tags sewn onto athletes’ singlets are there to allow quick scanning at our two sets of high tech electronic timing gates at the two finishing posts on Track A (the circular track, incorporating Straight Track A on the grandstand side, and Straight Track B, the opposite side of the field, near the changing rooms, that we also use as a straight track.) SO PLEASE DON’T REMOVE THE TAGS. (They can be put through a washing machine & dryer, but don’t iron them, please.) See Timing Gates & RFID Tags
