run a 300m race at 7:00pm. This event is on the NSW Little A’s program and is designed to introduce the younger age groups to their first middle distance running event.

U9 New Event. While the U9 age group has run the 400m as a pack start, this Friday at 8:00pm they will get a chance to try the 400m run in lanes. The challenge is to find your own pace rather than rely on others to set the pace for you. The laned 400m events being held for different age groups over the coming weeks will be great practice for the upcoming zone carnival to be held as ES Marks on December 13 and 14.

Seniors New Event. This Friday the Senior Boys and Girls get a chance to participate in the 1500m Walk event. The walk will be held at 8:00pm.

State Relay Championships. The State Relay Championships will be held at SOPAC Homebush on November 22nd and 23rd (State Relay list of events 2014) and ESLAC will be fielding our strongest team in many years. Athletes are already training hard which is essential for relay success.
