It’s the Last Night of the Season. Friday March 20th is the last competition night of the season. It has been a great 2014/2015 season for ESLAC Little Athletics. ESLAC has enjoyed great success at our inter club carnivals this season and we believe that is because of the excellent turnout at and effort put into our Friday night competitions. We have had 4,260 athletes attend our Friday night competitions and we have posted over 12,500 individual results so far this season! That is a lot of attendees and a lot of results! So thank you all for coming week in and week out and thanks also to all those volunteers who have entered so many results.
Tiny Tots Medallions. We will announce the age and event champions and present trophies and awards at our end of season Trophy Night (date TBA) later in the year, but it tends to run too late for our Tiny Tots so their Season Medallions will be awarded on the last competition night: this Friday March 20th.
Special Events Planned for this Friday. We will be running our normal track events so there is one more chance to post a new PB. It is the end of the season so I’m sure you are all on top of your game and ready for one more huge effort. Also, we will have some special events organised including an all ages relay and obstacle course with some special prizes to be awarded. Parents/Helpers 100m Challenge. They say the apple doesn’t drop far from the tree so I’m sure there will be plenty of super athletes who have super athlete parents. Of course the only way to test this theory is to test it in real life! The test will be on Friday March 20th when we run the Parents/Helpers Challenge. It will be over 100m on Straight A and it will be timed! May the best parent and best helper win.
