The ESLAC Trophy Presentation. The ESLAC Trophy presentation will be held this Sunday May 17th at the Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club at 5pm. This is our last event for our very successful 2014/2015 season. If you have siblings coming along who you think may have missed out on an award this year, please let the organisers know on Sunday. We have some very nice ESLAC medals that we can distribute to make sure no one who comes along to the trophy presentation leaves empty handed. ESLAC AGM. Are you one of the many people in the Athletics community that can see that Eastern Suburbs LAC is a club on the rise? Would you like to contribute to and be part of that success? The ESLAC AGM will be held 1 hour before the trophy presentation at 4pm on Sunday May 17th also at the Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club in Rose Bay. We will be electing office bearers and reporting on issues that have affected the club in the 2014/2015 season. All are welcome, any contribution that you could make would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for a Great 2014/2105 Season. We’ve had a great 2014/2015 Little Athletics Season with many season highlights that included:
– 23 Friday night competitions without a single wash out for the season (although we did get damp a couple of times)
– the purchase and successful running of an additional set of Electronic Timing Gates on the back straight
– an expansion of the event series to add more long and middle distance events
– use of RFID tags to enable scanning of athletes for faster and more accurate results entry
– establishment of a PB (Personal Best) culture where by recording and highlighting PB performances, athletes became just as (if not more) interested in getting a PB as getting 1st place in an event.
More Championship Success for ESLAC. March 20th-22nd saw the split cialis culmination of the Little Athletics competition calendar in NSW with the running of the LANSW 2015 State Championships. 33 ESLAC athletes made it through Zone and Regionals to represent our club at the State Championships and what a fantastic job they did.
