Club Captains for the 2021/22 Season. ESLAC is very happy and proud to announce that Max Wende and Lara Roets have been selected as ESLAC Male and Female Club Captains for the 2021/22 season. ESLAC is reinstating the positions of Club Captains after a long absence to recognise the contribution of our most senior athletes and to offer our younger athletes a chance to aspire to attaining what we are sure will be a very sort after positions into the future. Both Max and Lara have been with ESLAC many many years and have contributed to the club by representing ESLAC at many Regional and State Championships and not only bagging a great haul of medals for ESLAC but also for displaying exemplary conduct and sportsmanship at all times. In more recent times Max has proved to be a dab hand at the barbeque and Lara has been working tirelessly behind the scenes with setup and packup and as a stand in Age Manager for the younger age groups. Congratulations Max and Lara, we hope you have a great 2021/22 season as ESLAC Club Captains!
200m and Javelin this Friday February 26th. This Friday we are running Event Series 6 with the U10 – U17 age groups running the 200m/800m combination. The U7s will run a 50m/200m combination and the U8s to U10s will combine the 200m with a 70m sprint. The Tots – U6 will run 50m and 70m and the U11 – U17 age groups will also get to throw the Javelin starting at 8:30pm. You can print copies (or download copies to your phone) of the ESLAC Event Series 6 Feb 26, 2021 and the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Sep 19, 2018 and bring them with you on Friday night so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.
Congratulations ESLAC State Reps for 2020/21. Congratulation to the 47 athletes and the Girls Junior Relay Team who have made it through to the LANSW State Championships this season.
