Whilst there may be a few patches of sunshine today, tonight’s event is cancelled as McKay oval is closed to all sports today. Centennial Parklands made the assessment this morning not ESLAC, so we don’t have an option to run our event tonight.
We are hopeful of better weather conditions next week, as we have two weeks to go and State Titles for our competitors on 19 and 20 March.
We wish our 12 athletes competing at the State Multi Event Carnival this weekend the best of luck. It is a challenging program but we are sure you will all do well. Good luck Aria, Asher, Billie, Callie, Callum, Capri, Chloe, Charlotte, Eliza, Indiana Julian and Lola. From a review of the names, it looks like they will get some good hurdles and sprint points during the program.
