ESLAC State Championships Team Announced. Congratulations to the 30 athletes who will be representing ESLAC at the LANSW State Athletics Championships being held on the weekend of the 17th, 18th and 19th of March which is the weekend following our last Little A’s Friday night for the 2016/2017 season on March 10th. ESLAC will be represented in 57 individual events. Hurdles Night this Friday. This Friday we will be running Event Series 2 which sees the Tots to U7′s running 70m and 100m, U8 to U12′s running 60m hurdles, and the U13′s to U17′s running the 89/90/100/110m Hurdles. The U7′s will run a 500m event at 7:00pm, the U9 to U11′s will be competing the the 700m Walk and 1,100m Walk events and the U12 to U17′s will run a 400m pack start. Forecast for Friday. Possible light shower but no problem for ES Marks Athletics this evening. The forecast for Friday Feb 24th at 6pm is 23 degrees with a 15 km/h southerly breeze with the possibility of a light shower. Any rain is forecast to be very light and may hold off until after 8pm, so will not stop us from going ahead with our Little Athletics meet this evening.
Barbeque Roster. After membership fees the ESLAC barbeque is the club’s major source of revenue for the season. This week it is the turn of the Tiny Tots Girls and Tiny Tots Boys Parents to assist with the barbeque.
