Zone Nominations Open. Each year ESLAC athletes from ages 7 to 17 are invited to participate in the Zone Carnival held at our home track of ES Marks Athletics Field on Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of December. It costs $20 to nominate for the Zone Carnival and the parent/carer of each entrant is expected to volunteer for 2 hours as a helper or pay a $50 non-volunteer levy. U7 to U12 athletes can enter a maximum of 4 events each and U13 to U17 athletes can enter a maximum of 6 events each. Our Zone, the Inner City Zone, is made up of 8 clubs and is one of the strongest Zones in Australia. Each of the 8 clubs can enter a maximum of 5 athletes in each event for the U7 to U12 age groups, so entries are competitive and final say on who will represent ESLAC will be based on Friday night events results as judged by the ESLAC Committee.
The Zone Entry Table will be set up next to the Registration Tables under the corner of the grandstand that you pass as you enter ES Marks from the carpark area.
