Congratulations ESLAC State Relay Medalists. Congratulations to the ESLAC U10 mixed 4 x 400m team of Piper Simpson, Mia Foxe, Luke Newrick and Jack Richardson on a Bronze Medal on Saturday at the State Relay Championships and the U12 Boys 4 x 100m team of Richard Whalebone, Oliver Rouse, Tom Malki and Jay McKenzie for a Bronze Medal on Sunday. Thank you to all the teams, coaches and team managers who participated at the State Relay Championships and did ESLAC proud. There are still 4 x 100m Junior Boys and Girls and 4 x 100m Senior Boys and Girls relay events at Zone, so there may be one more chance to put your relay skills to good use again this year.
Zone Nominations Close this Friday November 24th. U7 to U17 are invited to participate in the Zone Carnival held at our home track of ES Marks Athletics Field on Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of December. It costs $20 to nominate for the Zone Carnival and the parent/carer of each entrant is expected to volunteer for 2 hours as a helper or pay a $50 non-volunteer levy. U7 to U12 athletes can enter a maximum of 4 events each and U13 to U17 athletes can enter a maximum of 6 events each.ESLAC can enter a maximum of 5 athletes in each event for the U7 to U12 age groups, so entries are competitive and final say on who will represent ESLAC will be based on Friday night events results as judged by the ESLAC Committee.
The Zone Entry Table will be set up next to the Registration Tables under the corner of the grandstand that you pass as you enter ES Marks from the carpark area.

100m, 400m and 200m/300m Hurdles this Friday November 24th. This Friday November 17th we will be running Event Series 1 which sees the Tots run the 50m, the U6s and U7s run a 50m/100m combination, while the U8s to U17s will compete in the 100m and 400m events. The U12s to U17s will also compete in the 200m/300m Hurdles Events. You can print or download the ESLAC Event Series 1 Nov 24, 2017, the Event Series 1 Program List Nov 24, 2017 and the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Oct 6, 2017 and bring them with you on Friday night so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.
Barbeque Roster U7 Age Group to Help Out. On Friday the 24th of October it is the turn of the U7 age group to help with the barbeque. If you are available, then please go to the barbeque area and ask for Natalie, our new barbeque manager. Setting up the barbeque is always a particular challenge so if we could have some volunteers at around 5:30pm it would be greatly appreciated.
