Hurdles and Javelin this Friday March 1st

Next week is the Last Week of our 2018/19 Season. Can you believe it, next week Friday March 8th, 2019 will be our last Friday night for the 2018/19 season. It is a special night for the Tiny Tots because that is when they will receive their season trophies, so make sure your Tiny Tots don’t miss their special night next week. There will be training for our State Reps at 5:10pm and we will run the track events as per a modified event Series 3 program.

Attendance and PB Points only for Friday March 1st. This weekend we have quite a few of our athletes attending the State Muti Event Championships in Dubbo, so the ESLAC committee have decided to award attendance and PB points only for this week. There are some tight races for age champions trophies this year and it is a shame for a close race to be decided one way or the other because someone is away representing our club so we will not be awarding events points for this evening, but points for attendance and PBs will be as per normal.

Save the Date Sunday March 31st, 2019. Save the date! We have booked the Eastern Suburbs Rugby Club on O’Sullivan Road Woollahra for our Trophy Night on Sunday March 31st 2019, so it is only 30 days away. Our trophy night has run late the last few seasons because we have struggled to get our results into the system on time, but this season we are on track so have pulled the trophy night back to a more fitting date at the end of March. Save the date, we look forward to seeing you there.

Hurdles and Javelin this Friday March 1st. This Friday March 1st we will be running Event Series 2 which sees the Tots through U7s run 70m, the U6s through U9s run the 100m and the U8s through U17s running the straight hurdles. There are Walks for the U9s, U10s and U11s and the U12s to U17s will also run the 400m. You can print copies of theĀ ESLAC Event Series 2 Mar 1, 2019 and theĀ Event Series 2 Program List Mar 1, 2019 and the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Sep 19, 2018 and bring them with you on Friday night so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.

ESLAC 2019 State Reps and Events. Congratulations again to our 27 State Championships Reps. Here they are listed by the event/s for which they have qualified. A special mention must go to Marli Mayne and Jack Richardson who have qualified for 4 events each. Their age groups were only allowed to enter into 4 events per athlete so qualifying for all 4 for State is an outstanding effort.
