Friday October 11th ESLAC Little Athletics Cancelled. The Weather Bureau is predicting steady rain tomorrow the 11th of October so we have taken the unusual step of CANCELLING tomorrow afternoon’s ESLAC Little Athletics meet.
We would normally not rely on a forecast but wait to see the weather on the day before cancelling an ESLAC meet but because we have many people planning to come back from holidays specially for Little Athletics tomorrow we decided we should give as much notice as possible to allow people to change their plans.
It’s always disappointing to cancel a Little A’s meet but we look forward to seeing everyone back at ES Marks on Friday the 18th of October when we will be running Event Series 6.
Plenty of New Member Sign Ups. We have lots of Eastern Suburbs families considering what sport will be best for the new school term that starts in a few weeks time. Well the answer is Little Athletics of course! That is why we see lots of new members signing up in early October so please spread the word about Eastern Suburbs Little Athletics at your school or your winter sports club, you can even download a copy of the ESLAC Banner Flyer or the ESLAC Quarter Page Flyer and put it in your school or local newsletter.
Registration. To see all the details about signing up for the Little Athletics Season please visit the ESLAC Registration Page. There will be lots of new registrations to get through on our return to ES Marks on Friday October 11th, so please come early if you don’t yet have your registration pack. There will be one queue for returning members and another for new members. Please download your Working with Children Declaration LANSW 2019 and ESLAC Parental Obligations Aug 1, 2016 forms and fill them in before handing them in at the registration desk under the south east corner of the grandstand as you enter ES Marks. New members will also need to show a proof of age document (copy of passport, birth certificate or student card are preferred) for each athlete being registered, if you are a new member and don’t have a proof of age document, you will not be able to pick up your registration pack.
