200m, 800m and Javelin this Friday October 23rd

New Start Times for this Season. ESLAC has new start times for the 2020/21 season. The Tiny Tots to Under 8s have a 5:20pm Warmup/5:30pm Start and the Under 9s to Under 17s have a 6:35pm Warmup/6:45 Start. We have implemented the staggered start times to separate the younger and older age groups as a part of our Covid Safe plan for the new season.

Registrations Still Open. At this stage registrations are still open, but we are getting close to our Covid Safe plan limits so registrations may have to close soon, for all the details on how to register please visit our Registration Page. If you have not completed this season’s registration, please see Ilana our registrar as you enter ES Marks to show your proof of age (if you are new to ESLAC), to hand in your downloaded and filled in Working with Children Declaration LANSW 2019 and ESLAC Parental Obligations Aug 1, 2016 forms and collect your registration pack.

Uniform Shop Open. If you need any uniform items they will be available from the uniform shop which will be set up near the girls change rooms at the amenities block on the eastern side of ES Marks. The uniform shop will be open before the start of competition each Friday night for the first part of the 2020/21 season.

200m and Javelin this Friday October 23rd. This Friday we are running Event Series 6 with the U10 – U17 age groups running the 200m/800m combination. The U7s will run a 50m/200m combination and the U8s and U9s will combine the 200m with a 70m sprint. The Tots – U6 will run 50m and 70m and the U11 – U17 age groups will also get to throw the Javelin starting at 8:30pm. You can print copies (or download copies to your phone) of the ESLAC Event Series 6 Oct 23, 2020 and the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Sep 19, 2018 and bring them with you on Friday night so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.

Barbeque Help Required. Thanks to those who helped out at the barbeque last week, we had a bumper turnout and the barbeque even ran out of sausages and buns later in the evening. We are expecting another excellent turnout this Friday so we have put in a monster barbeque order to keep our athletes and their families well fed. But excellent turnouts and monster orders need to be supported by a strong effort by our barbeque volunteers. The ESLAC barbeque is our major fund raiser for the season and it is also a great help for our ESLAC families, so if you have registered as helping with the BBQ please see Vanessa at the barbeque area to assist (the earlier the better).
