U9 to U12 Regional Team Does ESLAC Proud. We had a great performance last weekend from ESLAC Athletes in the Region 8 Littles State Qualifying Meet, with ESLAC athletes seeming to featuring in nearly every final and a ton of Personal Best performances. ESLAC has 15 athletes who have directly qualified for the Littles State Championships and many many others who are awaiting results from the other Qualifying Meets to see if they make it through to State on the basis of times/heights/distances compared to other Regions. A highlight for the carnival was the ESLAC Girls Relay team of Marnie Laurence U9, Venus Kelly U12, Aria Jensen U10 and Marli Mayne U11 who emulated the boys from 2020 with a great win in one of the premier events of the meet. For more details please see the ESLAC 2021 Regional Wrap Up by our President Drew Richardson, download the Region 8 State Littles Qualifying Meet Results and keep an eye on the Results from other Regions if you are following athletes hoping to qualify for State.

Barbeque Help Required. The barbeque fuels the families of ESLAC as well as the ESLAC bank balance and it has been doing a brilliant job on both counts this season. But the barbeque needs volunteers to run smoothly so, if you nominated as a barbeque volunteer on your parental obligations form, please see Vanessa at the barbeque to help out, the earlier the better.
