100m, 400m and 200m/300m Hurdles this Friday February 23rd. This Friday February 23rd we will be running a modified Event Series 1 (Discus 1 is still out) which sees the Tots run the 50m, the U6s and U7s run a 50m/100m combination, while the U8s to U17s will compete in the 100m and 400m events. The U12s to U17s will also compete in the 200m/300m Hurdles Events. Please download a copy of ESLAC Event Series 1 Feb 23, 2018 and the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Oct 6, 2017 and bring them with you on Friday night so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.
High Jump Changes. Also because of the upgrade works, our senior high jump mats have been moved. As a result we will have the scissor mats at the far end of ES Marks (northern end) and the senior high jump mats at the southern end. This is to reduce the distance we need to cart the large senior high jump mats.
You can Still Register for Little Athletics for the 2017/18 Season. There are still 8 weeks of Little Athletics action left this season so there is plenty of time to register. While there are no discounts (LANSW don’t allow discounts when registering through their system) there is a $50 cash rebate for late season entries that is refunded when you register again for next season.
