ESLAC Back This Friday. We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and that you are ready for some more athletics action this Friday the 7th of October.
There is Still Plenty of Time to Register. Registrations are done online through the Little Athletics NSW Online Registration System. You will then be able to complete your registration before the competition starts at ES Marks on Fridays by reporting to Ilana, our registrar, from 5pm for the next few Friday nights. Registration Forms Required. Returning Members must bring completed 2016 LANSW Working With Children Declaration and ESLAC Parental Obligations Aug 1, 2016 forms, while New Members must bring a completed 2016 LANSW Working With Children Declaration and the ESLAC Parental Obligations Aug 1, 2016 form as well as proof of age for your new Little Athlete/s (birth certificate or passport are preferred proof of age documents).
Uniforms Sales from 5:30pm of Fridays. Uniform sales will take place throughout each Friday night for the first several weeks of the season at the change rooms on the eastern side of ES Marks field. Please visit or Uniform Page for full details about the ESLAC uniform including costs etc.
200m Night this Friday 7th of October. This week we are running Event Series 6 which sees the U7’s to U17’s running the 200m sprint. There will be 70m sprints for the Tots to U10’s and an 800m run for the U11’s to U17’s. The U8’s will get a chance to run a laned 400m event at 8pm which is important practice for the zone carnival and the U12’s to U17’s will also have the opportunity to throw the javelin for the first time this season. You download a copy of the ESLAC Event Series 6 Oct 7, 2016 to your phone along with a copy of the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Oct 12, 2014 so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.
Barbeque Roster. After membership fees the ESLAC barbeque is the club’s major source of revenue for the season. This week it is the turn of the U9 Age Group to assist with the barbeque. Please download a copy of the ESLAC Barbeque Roster 2016_2017 Season to see when your age group is rostered on to help out.
Starlight Race for the Kids. The Starlight Children’s Foundation raises money to help brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families. On Saturday October 22nd we hope we can get lots of ESLAC families to join in a 5km family fun run in Centennial Park to help raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation and have loads of fun along the way.
