It’s the Last ESLAC Little A’s for 2016. This Friday December 2nd is the last ESLAC Little A’s meet for 2016 and the last meet before the Zone Carnival the following weekend on December 10th and 11th. Of course it’s only the middle of the season and we will be back at ES Marks after our Christmas/New Year break on Friday January 13th for the Regional Qualifiers and then on Friday January 20th for all of ESLAC.
Zone Carnival December 10th and 11th. The Zone Carnival is being held at ES Marks on the weekend of the 10th and 11th of December and is open to athletes in the U7 to U17 age groups. Thank you to those athletes who nominated for ESLAC at Zone. We only exceeded our 5 athlete limit in the U9 Boys 70m, 100m and 200m, the U9 Girls 70m and 100m and the U11 Boys 60m Hurdles. Some athletes still need to be contacted to determine if there are alternative events that they would like to compete in. Hurdles Night this Friday. This Friday we will be running Event Series 2 which sees the Tots to U7′s running 70m and 100m, U8 to U12′s running 60m hurdles, and the U13′s to U17′s running the 89/90/100/110m Hurdles. The U7’s will run a 500m event at 7:00pm, the U9 to U11’s will be competing the the 700m and 1,100m Walk events and the U12 to U17’s will run a 400m pack start. Barbeque Roster. After membership fees the ESLAC barbeque is the club’s major source of revenue for the season. This week it is the turn of the U8 Boys and U8 Girls Parents to assist with the barbeque. Please download a copy of the ESLAC Barbeque Roster 2016_2017 Season to see when your age group is rostered on to help out.
Registrations are Still Open. The ESLAC Little Athletics season runs right through until March 2017 (with a Christmas/New Year break), so there is plenty of athletics left this season. Registrations are done online through the Little Athletics NSW Online Registration System. You will then be able to complete your registration before the competition starts at ES Marks on Fridays by reporting to Ilana, our registrar, from 5:30pm at the registration desk as you walk into ES Marks. Success at the State Relay Championships. Congratulations to all those teams that competed at the State Relay Championships last weekend. A special congratulations to the following medal winning teams:
