Uniform Shop Dates. Thanks Amanda Garland-Barnes and Dan Barnes for your work in keeping the uniform shop stocked up and keeping our ESLAC athletes looking great. With our memberships settling down for the season and most athletes kitted out, the uniform shop will only be open this Friday the 6th of November and then again on the 20th of November. After those dates please send us an email and we will make arrangements for gear to be picked up at the barbeque.
Calendar Update Reminder. Please note that we have added Friday December 4th as an extra date to the ESLAC Calendar for this season due to the cancellation of the Zone Championships. This extra date means we have changed the dates for the different Event Series we are running for the 2nd half of our season. Make sure you download a copy of the ESLAC 2020_21 Calendar October 29, 2020 or check out our Calendar Page for all the ESLAC season dates, holiday dates and Event Series information.
Hurdles, Walks and Javelin this Friday November 6th. This Friday November 6th we will be running Event Series 2 which sees the Tots through U7s run 70m, the U6s and U8s run the 100m and the U8s through U17s running the straight hurdles. There are Walks for the U9s, U10s and U11s while the U12s to U17s run a 400m and the U7s take on the 500m event. You can print a copy of the ESLAC Event Series 2 Nov 6, 2020 and the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Sep 19, 2018 and bring them with you on Friday night so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.
Barbeque Help Required. The barbeque has been doing a great job of keeping us all well on Friday nights. Thanks again to the Wende family for doing such a great job this season. The technical department let the team down last Friday but the EFTPOS machine now has a new paper roll and is fully charged (there is also box of paper rolls in the storage shed) so hopefully we won’t see any further problems for the season. But the barbeque needs volunteers so please see Vanessa at the barbeque to help out, the earlier the better.
