New Start Times for this Season. ESLAC has new start times for the 2020/21 season. The Tiny Tots to Under 8s have a 5:20pm Warmup/5:30pm Start and the Under 9s to Under 17s have a 6:35pm Warmup/6:45 Start. We have implemented the staggered start times to separate the younger and older age groups as a part of our Covid Safe plan for the new season.
Registrations Still Open. At this stage registrations are still open, but we are getting close to our Covid Safe plan limits so registrations may have to close soon, for all the details on how to register please visit our Registration Page. If you have not completed this season’s registration, please see Ilana our registrar as you enter ES Marks to show your proof of age (if you are new to ESLAC), to hand in your downloaded and filled in Working with Children Declaration LANSW 2019 and ESLAC Parental Obligations Aug 1, 2016 forms and collect your registration pack.
Zone Carnival Cancelled. We regret to advise our ESLAC members that the Zone Championships that were to be held over the weekend of December 5th and 6th have been officially cancelled for the 2020/21 season. At this stage the Regional Championships and State Championships are still in the calendar and we are awaiting news on how athletes will qualify for these events. We will keep you posted as news is received.
Update to the 2020/21 ESLAC Calendar. Because of the Zone Carnival cancellation we have added another regular Friday night to our season on the 4th of December. We had ES Marks booked for Zone setup in any case on this date and the cancellation policy at Centennial Park Trust is pretty unforgiving so we are making Friday the 4th of December our last Little A’s before our Christmas/New Year break. Please see our Calendar page on the ESLAC web site or download a copy of the updated ESLAC 2020_21 Calendar October 29, 2020 that you can print and pin up at home.

You can print or download the ESLAC Event Series 1 Oct 30, 2020 and the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Sep 19, 2019 and bring them with you on Friday night so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.
Barbeque Help Required. Thanks to those who helped out at the barbeque last week. The barbeque is proving hugely popular this season and our thanks goes out to the Wende family (Annika, Max, Paul and especially Vanessa) who are doing a brilliant job at keeping up with demand. But even the multi-talented Wende family cannot satisfy the very healthy appetites of our ESLAC athletes and their families without a lot of volunteer help. The ESLAC barbeque is our major fund raiser for the season and it is also a great help for our ESLAC families, so if you have registered as helping with the BBQ please see Vanessa at the barbeque area to assist (the earlier the better).
