Why is Little A’s Important for Halloween? When being chased by ghouls, gremlins or ghosts here’s what you can do: jump over the ravine and leave them on the other side (long jump), push them down the well (shot put), sprint over the obstacles you leave in their way (hurdles), spear them (javelin) or best of all…. RUN!!! As you can see, Little A’s is the perfect practice for surviving Halloween.

State Relay Championships Approaching. The NSW State Relay Championships, will take place on November 21st and 22nd. We will be looking for the best athletes from U8 to U17 to represent ESLAC in the 100m, 200m, 400m, Middle Distance as well as Shot Put, Discus, High Jump and Long Jump events. If you would like to be selected to represent ESLAC tell your Age Manager and make sure you join the fastest heat in your track events in the coming weeks.

Event Series 3. This week we are running Event Series 3 including the 800m for U11 – Senior, the 3000m long distance for Senior
Athletes and the 100m for all age groups in the lead up to the State Relay Championships.
Barbeque Roster. To help share the load on the regular barbeque volunteers, we are implementing a barbeque roster. This week it is the turn of the U12 age group to assist with the barbeque. Please download a copy of the ESLAC Barbeque Roster 2015_2016 Season to see when your age group is rostered on to help out.
ESLAC Club Training. ESLAC club training started this October and continues each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at ES Marks Athletics Field for the U8 age group and above. U8 to U10 training is from 3:30 to 4:30, while the U11 to U17 is from 4:30 to 5:30. Please note that there is a charge of $100 per athlete for the entire season to subsidise the cost of ESLAC providing coaching. See our Coaching Page for more details.
