Thanks for a Great Season Opener. ESLAC’s opening night for the 2016/17 Little A’s season saw a great turnout, heaps of new members and a record number of potential new athletes trialing. We had our fair share of problems, with registration/uniform backlogs, computer database problems, and lots of new volunteers/helpers learning the ropes, but it turned out to be a good night and things will only get better from here. We have been ironing out technical and organisational bugs during the week and are looking forward to better performances by both organisers and athletes this Friday.

There is Still Plenty of Time to Register. Registrations are done online through the Little Athletics NSW Online Registration System. You will then be able to complete your registration before the competition starts at ES Marks on Fridays by reporting to Ilana, our registrar, from 5pm for the next few Friday nights. Uniforms Sales from 5:30pm of Fridays. Uniform sales will take place throughout each Friday night for the first several weeks of the season at the change rooms on the eastern side of ES Marks field. Please visit or Uniform Page for full details about the ESLAC uniform including costs etc.
300m Hurdles for the first time ever this Friday the 16th of September: This week Friday we will be running Event Series 4 with the Tiny Tots, U6/U7’s running 70m/100m, U8’s the 100m and 700m, U9/U10’s the 100m and 800m and the U11 to Seniors running the 100m and 1500m events. U12/U13 will run the 200m Hurdles while the U15/U17’s will run the new 300m Hurdles race. We will also be running a laned 400m for the U11’s the end of the meet. Barbeque Roster. After membership fees the ESLAC barbeque is the club’s major source of revenue for the season. It is always hard to organise volunteers at the beginning of the season so all help is welcome. This week it is the turn of the U7 Age Group to assist with the barbeque.
