Extra Coaching Program for Signed Up ESLAC Athletes. We are continuing our extra coaching program this Friday before competition (our middle distance coach Byron is away this week but our other 4 coaches will be on hand) from 5pm and on Tuesdays for middle distance and Tuesdays/Thursdays for Sprints/Hurdles with Mal Baker. The cost is $100 for the season for each coaching day you would like to attend. See our updated Coaching Page for further details.
Hurdles, Javelin and Relay Practice this Friday October 26th. This Friday October 26th we will be running Event Series 2 which sees the Tots through U7s run 70m, the U6s through U9s run the 100m and the U8s through U17s running the straight hurdles. There are Walks for the U9s, U10s and U11s and the U12s to U17s will also run the 400m. We have scheduled relay practice at 8pm for the U8 and U10s followed by the U9s and the U11-U17s if there is time after Javelin. You can print copies of the ESLAC Event Series 2 Oct 26, 2018 and the Event Series 2 Program List Oct 26, 2018 and the ESLAC ES Marks Event Locations Map Sep 19, 2018 and bring them with you on Friday night so that you know what is scheduled for your age group and where you can find your group at any time.
Barbeque Help Required (Tiny Tots). The barbeque is the major fund raiser for ESLAC during the season and we thank the volunteers who turn up to run it every week. This week it is the turn of the Tiny Tots age group to help out. Please download a copy of our ESLAC Barbeque Roster 2018_2019 Season to see when your age group is next scheduled to help out.
State Relay Championships Coming Up. We will be scheduling relay practise this Friday October 26th to get ready for the State Relay Championships will be held on the weekend of November 17th/18th at Sydney Olympic Park. Age Groups U8 – U11 will compete on the Junior day on Saturday the 17th of November and Age Groups U12 – U17 will compete on the Senior day on Sunday the 18th of November. Registrations are Still Open. Please let your friends know that, even though the season has started, registrations for the 2018_19 season are still open. We have already had 5 weeks of the season but there are 14 weeks left before our last night at ES Marks on Friday the 8th of March 2019. When registering, remember that we are “Eastern Suburbs Little Athletics Club – Friday” and that if you want to claim your $100 NSW State Government Active Kids Voucher, you should visit Services NSW first to get your voucher number.
